Hardware Park sits on Bagalur Main Road (SH-104) in North Bangalore, right next to Kempegowda International Airport. You will find it on Bagalur Main Road, right near the Kempegowda International Airport, sitting next to the Aerospace Park and the Shell Technology Centre. The area falls under the broader KIADB industrial belt in Bagalur, a government-planned zone that stands for Karnataka Industrial Areas Development Board, located in Bagalur, in northern Bangalore.
The corridor has moved well beyond the planning stage. The already notified Phase I of 950 acres, along with the 250-acre aerospace SEZ, is fully operational, with over half the industrial plots allotted to marquee global tenants including Dynamatic Technologies, Boeing and Collins Aerospace. Boeing's presence is particularly significant, having inaugurated its 43-acre India Engineering & Technology Centre in January 2024, its largest facility outside the U.S., while Collins Aerospace launched a state-of-the-art Engineering Development & Test Centre in March 2025 to support local aircraft certification.
Residential development has followed the job creation. The locality sits close to established North Bangalore business districts, with business locales like Hebbal (22 Km), Yelahanka (11 Kms), Thanisandra (15.2 Kms) and Budigere Cross (16.5 Kms) all within a comfortable drive. A proposed metro rail line is also part of the long-term plan, expected to link North Bangalore to the south in just 40 minutes.
A recent government decision to scrap the separate Aerocity Phase 2 land acquisition made headlines, but it has no bearing on Hardware Park itself. The decision does not impact the operational Bagalur Aerospace Park, its SEZ, or the wave of ongoing residential launches in the area. Analysts note that the employment outlook and housing demand in Bagalur remain strong, driven by infrastructure, industry and proximity to North Bengaluru's growth corridor.
