Anekal is a taluk headquarters town on the southern edge of Bengaluru, carrying the pincode 562106 and falling under the Bengaluru South Zone. With a seating capacity of 80,000, the Anekal stadium will be more than double the capacity of Bengaluru's M. Chinnaswamy Stadium.
